Obituary of Katharina Kauntz

Born in Tekendorf, Romania on April 17, 1923, Katharina passed away peacefully on Monday, June 11, 2013 at Freeport Health Centre, Kitchener at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Michael Kauntz. Loving mother to Katharina Emrich and her husband Helmut. Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Jennifer) Emrich, David (Andrea) Emrich, Katharina (John) Karst, Kimberly (Edward) Stuehler and great-grandchildren Cierra and Brock Emrich, Katelyn, Joshua and Thomas Emrich, Evan, Breanna and Aidan Karst, Michael, Cameron and Evelyn Stuehler. Dear sister of Michael Zaig and Gertrude Kaiser all of Germany. Predeceased by her daughter Susanna and son in infancy; brother Martin Zaig and sisters Susanna Zaig and Sofia Pohlert. A Private Funeral Service was held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. Rev. Pellini officiated. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
