Obituary of Wilhelmina Aussems

Passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by the love of her family on July 2, 2013 at the age of 86. Willy was predeceased by her beloved husband Johannes "John" in 2008. Loving mother and deeply missed by her four daughters, JoAn Aussems and Rich Saris, Diane and Dennis Cober, Mary Ann and Ron Pearson and Ria and Richard Long. Devoted Oma to Chris and Mike Rederer, Melanie Cober, Amy and Joe Ditner, Sarah and Adam Snider, Carl and Amanda Cober, Terri-Lyn and Ron Rooke, Scott Pearson and Maresa MacAskill, Rick and Jen Long and Caroline and Steve Cassidy. Loving great-Oma to: Dominic, Paige, Chloe, Caleb, Ethan, Xander, Danica, Henry, Chase, Brooklyn and Joshua. Willy will also be remembered by her very special friend Beulah Dennison and several relatives in Holland. Willy was a long-time employee of Lashbrook's Shoes and Savage Shoes. Friends are invited to share their memories of Willy with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered Friday evening at 7:45pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 173 Lourdes Street, Waterloo on Saturday, July 6 at 10:00 am with Monsignor Edward Sheridan as Celebrant. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo and a reception to follow the interment at the Parish Hall of the church.
