Obituary of Marie Arnold

Passed away peacefully at her residence at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre on July 22, 2013 at the age of 96 years. Marie was the loving wife of the late Edward John Arnold (1995). Survived by her children June Vanderhorst (Bill), Joyce Arnold, Pat Maziarz (Ted), Maryann Arnold, and John Arnold. Loving Grandmother of Julie, Matthew, Melissa & Corrine. Predeceased by her brothers Joseph, Wilfred & Gilbert Stumpf and her parents Edward and Magdalena Stumpf. Marie was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and a member of the CWL for many years. Marie also volunteered at the Gift Shop at Freeport Health Centre where she received a 50 year volunteer pin. She devoted her time to many other different organizations and groups. Friends are invited to share their memories of Marie with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church 173 Lourdes Street West Waterloo with Monsignor Edward Sheridan as Celebrant on Saturday July 27, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Reception to follow at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home.
