Obituary of Frederick Carder

Passed away peacefully with his family at his side, at Grand River Hospital on Friday, August 23, 2013 at the age of 62. Predeceased by his parents Alice and Leslie Carder and his brother Bradley. Survived by his siblings David, Greg and Dennis all of Waterloo, Doug and his wife Robin, Rodney and his wife Edwina all of Kitchener, Jacqueline and her husband Ray Reny of Anmore B.C., Janice Kimmel of Cambridge, and Robbin and her husband Enzo Marrella of Tomball, Texas. Fred was an uncle to 13 nieces and nephews and a great uncle to 9 nieces and nephews. Fred was a kind and generous son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by all. Friends are invited to share their memories of Fred with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 6 - 9 pm. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 29 at 11:00 am in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Canon Robin Lyons of All Saints Anglican Church officiating. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Cremation will have taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family and donations to the Grand River Hospital Dialysis Unit may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Grand River Hospital for their care and compassion.
