Obituary of Mary Weirmier

After a courageous battle with cancer, Mary passed away peacefully on September 8, 2013 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 87. Beloved wife of 65 years to Herbert. Loving mother of William (Linda Snyder), Ron, Ross (Gloria) and Jeff (Penny). Cherished grandma to Cory (Stephanie), Tamara, Brandon, Chris (Andrea), Jenn (Greg) and great-grandma to Carly, Nathan, Hannah and Isabelle. Also missed by her brother Ben Switzer, her sister-in-law Betty Stever and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Harvey Switzer, sister-in-law Diane Switzer, brothers-in-law; Joseph, Walter, George (Clara Belle), Clayton (Vi), Clarence (Elva); sisters-in-law Anne (Bill), Ruth (Roy) and her parents William and Claire Switzer. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at CCAC and Grand River Hospital especially the Doctors and the Nurses on the 6th floor who cared for Mary with such compassion and care. Friends are invited to share their memories of Mary with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 1-3 & 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 22 Willow Street, Waterloo, on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 11:00a.m. Rev. Fred Ludolph presiding. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens.
