Obituary of Rita Cormier

Rita Cormier passed away peacefully on Friday September 27, 2013 at Forest Heights Long Term Care in Kitchener. She was the loving wife and best friend of the late Alcide Cormier. Rita was the dedicated mother to her children Bernard (Nancy) Cormier, Brenda (Richard) Bin, late Gary Cormier. She is survived by her daughter in law Bonnie, grandchildren: Chris & Vera Cormier and their daughter Victoria; Matt & Cathy Cormier; Kaitlin Cormier & Riley Clarke; Jennifer & Rich Carlsen; Brad & Stacey Cormier and their children Rilee, Kaiden, Lincoln, Griffin, Tristan; Brian Cormier & Jennifer Herd; Mike & Sarah Bin and their children Melanie, Brayden, Max; Jenine Bin & Noel Dearing. Rita was the daughter of the late Edgar and Zelica Melanson of Cap Pele, New Brunswick. Dear sister to surviving Bernadette (Fred) Bourgeois of Dieppe, New Brunswick, and Joseph Melanson of Waltham, Massachusetts. Rita was predeceased by her brothers and sisters Margaret, Rose, Irene, Alex, Edna, Mathilda, Rene. A wholehearted thank you goes out to all of the amazing staff at Forest Heights Long Term Nursing home for their excellent personal care. Rita's family will receive relatives and friends at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday October 4, 2013. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:15 p.m., memorial service 2:30 p.m. followed by a reception.
