Obituary of Anthony Caley
Tony passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on January 24, 2016, listening to jazz, of age related illness. He was born in Ipswich, Suffolk England, an only child to Ivy and Charlie. From humble beginnings, Tony became a Jazz drummer in England. He married the love of his life, the late Dorothy Emma Emeny (2013) and they emigrated to Canada in 1957. Tony founded Caley Orthodontic Laboratory in 1969.
Tony and Dot had two children, Gillian (Paul) Williams, and Paul (Jane) Caley.
They were blessed with 6 grandchildren, Sy (Taryn), Matt (Laura), Adam (Renee), Katie (Thomas), Sarah, and Nicholas; 9 great-grandchildren, Olivia, Isla, Ryan, Nathan, Morgan, Jaxon, Edison, Taylor and Liam.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Tony with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 10 to 10:45 a.m. The funeral service to celebrate Tony's life will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room. A private family interment will take place in the weather that Dot and Tony loved, spring time, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau where they will rest Together Forever.
