Dale loved life and music. He played in many bands in the 40s. He was band leader of the Waterloo Region Police band for many years, also leader of the Concordia Band and had his own band, "The Brass 'n Blue". He was the proprietor of the Trail's End Hotel from 1960 to 1980 and the builder of the Black Forest Inn. He loved holidaying in Manitoulin Island with his family and in his later years going to Myrtle Beach with his love, Barbara.
Our heartfelt thanks goes out to the ICU Team at the Grand River Hospital for their excellent care and support.
A celebration of Dale's love of life will be at the Waterloo Rod and Gun Club 1075 Bo De Lane, St. Jacobs, ON on Saturday February 13, 2016 between 1-7 p.m. where his family and friends can come and share stories and love of his music and we will give cheers to one heck of a good guy. As Dale would say… "Keep Swinging… Oh Ya!"
