Obituary of Emily Janzen
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 28, 2016 in her 102nd year at Cambridge Country Manor.
Emily was the daughter of the late Bernard and Theresa (Kloepfer) Drexler. She was a very loving and devoted wife to the late Henry Janzen. Emily was a faithful member of St. Boniface Church in Maryhill, Ontario and a member of the C.W.L.
She was predeceased by her brothers, William, Albert, Charles and Verne, her sisters Anne (MacDonald), Rose (Petherick) and Mary (Lorentz) and sister-in-law Margaret Currie.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Mary Drexler. She was a very special aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Aunt Em loved to garden and took such pride in her beautiful flowerbeds. She also spent many hours crocheting and knitting. Many of us received a pair of those special slippers or an afghan.
We would like to thank the staff at Cambridge Country Manor for all the loving care you gave to aunt Em for many years.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Emily with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street, South, Waterloo, on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Boniface R.
