Obituary of Shirley Harrop

Shirl died peacefully, encircled by family and friends, following a brief illness. Loving partner to Dianne Roedding for 33 years. Sister to Richard, sister-in-law to Ken, Nancy and Grant Roedding, aunt to Tim, Cyrus, Simon and Emily. Loving Kwak to the Otika/Nanongo families. Also mourned by many friends and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Marjorie and William Harrop. Shirl will be remembered for her wit, sense of humour, letter writing, dance moves and love of sports, politics, literature, classical music and old movies. Friends are invited to share their memories of Shirley with her family during a memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. A Memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, June 18th at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, with reception to follow in the funeral home's fireside reception room. Private family interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau on Monday.
