<h1>Peter Owens</h1> 1949 – 2007 Peter Owens passed away suddenly, September 9, at his residence from complications associated with his 6 year fight against prostrate cancer. He was 57. Peter was President of the Aeroblimp Corporation, inventor of the Nooklooker, hot air balloon pilot and holder of several ballooning world records. Peter and the Owens Family are known for the development of the Aberfoyle Mill Restaurant and Flea Market from 1960-1973. He is predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Marion Owens. Peter will be remembered by his brother Howard Fryer and his two daughters of Mexico. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 1 p.m. at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home Chapel, 171 King Street South, Waterloo. A reception will follow in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room.
