<h1>Donald Kanold</h1> 1926 - 2006 As he lived, Don died peacefully, surrounded by his family at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Thursday September 7, 2006, age 80 years. Cherished husband of Doris (nee Stalkie). Loving father of Mary Morrison and her husband Bill, Peter Kanold and his wife Kerry, John Kanold and his wife Thecla, Wayne Kanold, and Tim Kanold. Don enjoyed his 11 grandchildren and 1 great- granddaughter. He will also be missed by his brothers Robert Kanold and his wife Marguerite and by Keith Kanold and their families. Don served overseas in the Second World War from 1943 - 1945 and is a member of the Waterloo Legion Branch 530. Friends are invited to share their memories of Don with his family during memorial visitation at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Monday September 11, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate Don’s life will be held at Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 29 Westmount Road South, Waterloo on Tuesday September 12, 2006 at 2 p.m. Reception will immediately follow at the church. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
