Obituary of Gordon Stonehouse

<h1>Gordon Stonehouse</h1> 1941 – 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon, as the result of an accident in Burlington. Loving partner of Paul Chamberlain for 28 years. Cherished brother of Frances Vitali, Marjorie (Stewart) Montgomery, Audrey Bauman Stonehouse, and Nancy (Charles) King. Gordon will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Stanley (1972) and Minnie (2008) and by his sister Barbara (1991). Gordon grew up in Brampton, graduated from St. Andrew’s College in 1960, and attended Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S. He was a keen lover of horses, sailing, and dogs. He will be greatly missed by his constant companions Bella and Beauregard. Cremation has taken place. A reception to celebrate Gordon’s life will be held at The Water Street Cooker, 2084 Old Lakeshore Road Burlington, Ontario L7R 1A3 - (905) 634-2084 on Saturday, September 25, 2010, from 12 noon to 3:30 p.m. Please email pchamberlain2@cogeco.ca for more information.
