Susanna died peacefully, with family at her side, at St. Marys General Hospital on Sunday, September 6, 2009, in her 95th year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Andreas Gellner, in 1983. Much loved mother of Susan Frim and her husband John, Mary Klein and her husband John, Andy Gellner and his wife, Rosemarie, and John Gellner. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Erika Schmidt, Hilda Janzen, Robert Klein, John K. Frim, Mike Klein, David Klein, Jeff Gellner and Chris Gellner, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Besides her husband, Susanna was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Andreas Binder and Michael Binder; granddaughter-in-law, Liz Klein; and great-grandson, Connor Klein.
Susanna was a long-time member of St. Peters Lutheran Church and the Transylvania Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo for visitation on Wednesday, September 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to honour Susannas life and faith will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Mark Ehlebracht officiating. Interment at St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment in the funeral homes Fireside Reception Room.
