1919 - 2010
Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Mennonite Home, Waterloo on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at age 90.
Beloved husband for 60 years of the late Cecilia; admired father of Michael Jr. (Karin), Elizabeth Miller (Albert), and Katie Kent (Colin); loving grandfather of Daniel, Nicole, and Steven Endresz, Wayne, and Christopher Miller, and Meghan Kent; and Ur-Opa of Charlotte Endresz. Also survived by his brothers, Andreas of Germany and Miklos of Hungary.
Predeceased by his sister, Maria Birk of Hungary.
Born in Hungary, and before coming to Canada in 1967, lived in Germany for 10 years.
He was very devoted to his family and loved his children and grandchildren, always putting their needs before his own. He loved the countryside and found great pleasure in sharing his gardening expertise with his children.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Michael with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
