<h1>Etha Linton</h1> 1918 – 2008 Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on Thursday, September 4, 2008, at the age of 90 years. Etha’s love and devotion to her family is her legacy. Etha is survived by her five children; Ed (Eileen) Linton of Gadshill, Brenda (Evan) Woods of RR1 West Montrose, Karen (Bill) Martin of Kitchener, Peter (Marie) Linton of Kitchener, and Valerie (Jim) Smith of Listowel, 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Iris McLaren, Doreen and Martha Linton. Etha was predeceased by her husband Cecil Linton, her companion Chuck Mckinnon, and her brother Daryl McLaren. Etha was born to Duncan and Flora (nee Bennie) McLaren in the Pembroke Ontario area. Etha retired after working at Goudies for 28 years and is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #530, Waterloo. Friends are invited to share their memories of Etha with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Friday, (today), September 5, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and prior to the funeral service on Saturday, September 6 from 12 – 12:45 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery Condolences for the family and donations to the MS Society may be arranged through the funeral home, 519.745.8445 or www.erbgood.com. In living memory of Etha, a donation will be made to the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
