With deep sadness we announce the passing of Ian Donald Ferguson on Sunday September 28th, 2008 following a valiant battle with cardiomyopathy.
He is survived by his loving wife Connie and by his beloved daughter Sarah.
He will be missed by his siblings Sharon Wohlgemut (Horst), Hugh Ferguson, Grant Ferguson (Karen) and Janet Babcock.
He will be fondly remembered by the McMartin family, by his many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Ian is predeceased by his parents Angus and Alice Ferguson and by his father-in-law Cecil McMartin.
Thank you to Dr. M. Garboll, Dr. C. Rinne, Dr. S. Smith, Irene Janzen and the Cardiac Team at St. Marys Hospital.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Ian with his family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Friday October 3, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service in honour Ians life will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 445 Anndale Road, Waterloo on Saturday October 4, 2008 at 1 pm with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Lunch will follow in the church hall. Private interment in Killean Cemetery, Galt.
