<h1>Sophie Bobbie</h1> (nee Sisko) Peacefully at home, on September 27, 2007 in her 79th year and in the presence of her loving family. Beloved wife of 59 years of William (Bill) Bobbie, loving mother of Marc (Jane) of Scarborough, Brian (Nora) of Mississauga, Carol Smeltzer (Joe) of Fergus, Dr. Barbara Bushby (Stephen) of Deep River, ON and a loving grandma of 10 grandchildren, Robyn, Danya, Kirsten, Tess, Neil, Colleen, Gordy, Hannah, Claire, and Charlotte. Also survived by brother Mike and five nieces and nephews. Sophie was a stay-at-home mom, enjoying her children’s growing-up years, and then cherishing time with the grandchildren, to whom she passed on her many craft skills. Predeceased by her parents, Anna and Charles Sisko and granddaughter, Ronni. A private family cremation and celebration of Sophie’s life was held yesterday, Friday, September 28. Friends and neighbours are invited to the family home on Saturday, September 29 from 2-4 pm to share their memories and stories of Sophie’s life. The family’s heartfelt thanks are extended to the C.C.A.C. staff and their special services personnel for their timely and compassionate care.
