<h1>James "Jim" Fraser</h1> 1927 - 2008 Peacefully, at home in Waterloo, and surrounded by family, on Friday, September 19th, 2008 at the age of 81. Loving husband and best friend of Edel for 51 years. Devoted Dad to Neil (Maureen) of Waterloo and David (Darla) of Orangeville. Cherished Opa of Graeme, Liam, Richard and Ian. He will be greatly missed by his sister, Jill and husband Fred Fleischer of Oakville and by his sister-in-law, Irmi and husband Heinz Schernus of Germany. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks for the remarkable caring service provided by the Oncology nurses at Grand River Hospital and the Palliative Care Team in the Waterloo Community. Friends are invited to share their memories of Jim with his family during a memorial service at the Church of the Holy Saviour, 33 Allen Street East on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 11 a.m. with The Venerable Peter T. Townshend officiating. In keeping with Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
