<h1>Florence Foster</h1> Passed away peacefully, in her own home, on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 Loving wife and best friend for 56 years of Vic Foster who predeceased her in 2004. Also predeceased by her parents, Frank and Alice Spindler. Win is survived by her brother Bernard of Carson City, Nevada and sister-in-law Elsie of S. Chingford, England. Win was born in Hounslow, England and served during the Second World War with the A.T.S. as an R.A.P.C. clerk in Reading from 1942 to 1945. She then joined Thomas Cook Travel in London England where she met Vic and they were married in 1948. They came to Canada in 1958 and eventually settled in K-W. Win worked for Robertson, McCauley and Remington Rand before joining Vic at Vic Foster’s Travel. Over the years they enjoyed traveling to many parts of the world and also keeping in touch with family and friends at home and around the globe. Cremation has taken place and at Win’s request there will be no visitation. Friends are invited to join in a Celebration of Win’s Life at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at 3:00 pm with the Rev. Mark Gedcke of Calvin Presbyterian Church officiating. A reception will follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. In living memory of Win, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning program by the funeral home.
