<h1>Elizabeth "Betty" Mayer</h1> ELIZABETH MAYER (nee Ludwig) 1930 – 2007 It is with great sadness we announce that Elizabeth (Betty) passed away peacefully at The Village of Winston Park on September 15, 2007 in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late Henry Mayer Jr. (2001). Loving mother to Ken Mayer (MaryLou), Bob Mayer (Carol) and Karen Mueller (Rick) all of Waterloo. Precious grandmother to Shane Myers (Kristi), Steven Mayer, Sarah Mayer, Jessica Mueller, Alex Mueller and Eric Mueller. Sadly missed by her sister Susan Stachel (Rick) and her sister-in-law Carol Mayer. Predeceased by her parents, John and Barbara Ludwig. A special thank you to everyone at The Village of Winston Park who touched part of Betty’s life, for your care and kindness. Betty was a long time employee of Uniroyal. During her retirement, time with family, passion for her gardens and plants filled her days. She was looking forward to bowling once again with our dad. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 11 a.m. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Mary’s Hospital-Cardiac Care Unit would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the funeral home, 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com. In living memory of Betty, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
