<h1>Edith Sykes</h1> 1920-2010 Died peacefully at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Facility on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, age 90. Loving Aunt to Elaine, Allan (Jackie), David (Gwen), Dianne, Suzanne (George), Glenn (Carol) John, Elizabeth, Barbara (Steven), Mary and many great nieces and nephews. Edith is survived by her brothers Donald and Lawrence and sisters-in-law, Violet and Jeanne. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law Edwin, Vera, Kenneth and Frances and her beloved niece Marilyn. Edith worked for Mutual Life for her entire career. A dedicated churchwoman, sensitive musician, and amateur historian, she faithfully served her congregation of Glen Acres and as delegate to several Baptist World Alliance conventions. Friends are invited to celebrate her life at a Memorial Service at Glen Acres Baptist Church, 223 Hartwood Ave., Waterloo, N2J 1B2, on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 3:00 p.m., the Rev. Bill Horne, presiding.
