<h1>Sherwood "Woody" Farrow</h1> 1923 – 2008 With saddened hearts and many tears, we announce the peaceful passing, at Sunnyside Home, of Woody Farrow, Sunday, September 14, at the age of 84. Precious husband of Gloria (nee Stanson) for 65 blessed years, the great love of her life. Caring and loving father of Dennis (Diane), Sharon Cosman, Jim (Susan), and Judy Underwood, (Kim). Grandfather (Dedo) of Debbie, Kimberley and Mark Farrow, and Scott and Andrew Underwood. Great-grandfather of Nichole Farow,and Darcy and Jesse Crocker, and great-great-grandfather of Jason and Dustin Farrow. Loved brother of Doug (Janice), Donny (Marg), Thelma North, and Carole Lichti (Enos). Loving brother-in-law of Helen and George Stanson, Edwin Stanson, and Helen Hillier. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Julius and Edna, a brother, Arnold, son-in-law, Al Cosman, sisters-in-law, Verna Stanson, Lois Stanson, and Betty Farrow, and brothers-in-law James Stanson, James Hillier, and Wilfred North. Woody served with the R.C.A.F., was a partner with Farrow Brothers Auto Electric, and taught auto shop at Grand River Collegiate. He was Mr. Fixit to family and friends. He loved playing cards, chocolate, fishing, woodworking, chocolate, bowling, telling a good joke… and more chocolate. Friends are invited to share their memories of Woody with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Woody’s life and faith will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 49 Queen St. N., Kitchener on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Judi Harris officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the church fellowship hall.
