<h1>Sgt. Major Frank Fasang</h1> 1922 - 2010 Passed away on Sunday Sept 12, 2010 at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener, at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Margaret. Dear father of Donna Fasang and Karen Brown and her husband Jim. Proud grandfather of Damon and Sean Fasang. Sadly missed by friends Al Turner and Gloria Caldwell whose much thanked support of Frank and Margaret is surely appreciated. Born in France, Frank’s family immigrated to Canada and was raised in Springhill Nova Scotia. Frank served his new adopted country proudly as a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force serving overseas in WW II. Following the war he married Margaret Arvay. Frank began a long career as a high school educator in the KW area schools and rose to the level of Head of the Business Program. All while helping raise a family whom he loved dearly. In his spare and retirement time Frank enjoyed fishing and time spent at his summer home in Harcourt Ontario. Honoring Frank’s personal wishes cremation will take place. Frank’s family wishes to thank the kindness and care shown by the Doctors, Nurses and staff of St. Mary’s General Hospital as well as those from the Red Cross, Paramed, CCAC and Veteran’s Affairs which allowed Frank and his family to spend precious time together in his home.
