<h1>Leota Miller</h1> Died peacefully and so gently surrounded by her family in her home at Parkwood Mennonite Home, on Sunday, September 12, 2010, one month shy of her 89th birthday. Dear mother of Catherine (Burlington), Marie (Kitchener) and Douglas (Vancouver). Leota was predeceased by her husband, Bert in 2002; her parents, Joseph and Mary Lugena Billo; her sisters and their husbands, Maggie (Cliff) Coville, Bette (Jack) Eberth, and Mary Frances (Forest) Baker. She is survived by her sister, Viola Slota (John 2009), in-laws Bud and Antoinette Miller, Bea Wooley, Peggy MacWhirter and Jane Shury, and many nieces and nephews. Leota always served her family and community with love and devotion. She was a great friend to many, especially her dear friend, Angeles Fernandez. Leota’s family will receive visitors at Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, September 15 from 2-4:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Teresa RC Church, 44 Leonard St., Kitchener on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Tom Moisan as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. All are invited to a luncheon at Kypreos Restaurant, 305 Lancaster St. W., Kitchener at 12:30 p.m. onward in Leota’s honour. The family feels so blessed that Leota lived the last five years in the caring community of Parkwood Mennonite Home. She was loved and cared for by the staff as though she was their own mother, especially those in Bauman Homestead and Weber Woods.
