Obituary of Lynne Gingrich

Beloved wife, mother and daughter, Lynne Elizabeth Gingrich (nee Schendel), suddenly, in her 63rd year. Loving wife and best friend of Kenneth Gingrich for 39 years. Deeply loved mother of Sarah and Lyle Guard, Kit and Robert Fraser, Jennifer, Josh and Matthew Gingrich. Proud Grammy to Alexandra Guard. Dearest daughter of Bernice Schendel and sister to Paul Schendel. We are comforted in knowing that Lynne has been reunited with her infant son, Jeffrey and her cherished father, Allan Schendel. Lynne adored her dogs, Rory and Clancy and her cats Sophie and Tilly, both of whom she rescued. Her greatest joy was her family and she was anticipating with much excitement, the arrival of her second granddaughter. Her genuine love of people, passion for her gardens and days with her family on the beaches of Marco Island, are most treasured memories. Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Lynne at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday September 15, 2009, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Lynne’s life will be held on September 16, 2009, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 78 John Street West, Waterloo, at 1 p.m. A reception will follow at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home in the Fireside Reception Room.
