Obituary of Philip Bell

<h1>Philip Bell</h1> CD in his 91 st year after a brief illness at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, Ontario on September 12th, 2007. He served in Sicily, Italy and England with the Hastings &amp; Prince Edward Regiment, 1939-45, and served in the RCAF, 1949-67. Following his retirement from the military he worked for Customs &amp; Excise in Trenton, Ontario. Son of the late John and Mabel Bell, Marmora, Philip was the beloved husband of Mary Clare Bell (nee Barnard), his wife of 65 years, of Waterloo, Ontario. Philip and Mary met in London, England during WWII and were married there in St. Bartholomew the Great Church, September 1942. Predeceased by his brothers Alex Bell, Graham Bell, and sister Margaret MacLean. He is survived by his sister Irene McMillen, brothers Allan Bell and Donald Bell and his children Jacqueline McFee (Robert) Stirling, Hilary Bell (Michael Beerden) Toronto, Alayne Korczynski (Maurizio) Whitby and Geoffrey Bell (Susan) Waterloo and 7 grandchildren. Cremation has taken place in Waterloo, Ontario. A graveside memorial service will be held at Zion Cemetery, Marmora, Ontario on Saturday, September 29,2007 at 2.00 p.m. If desired, donations in Philip's memory may be made to the Heart &amp; Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Alzheimer Society.
