<h1>Laurie Brown</h1> LAURIE BROWN 1918 – 2006 In the presence of her family, passed away on September 12, 2006 at Leisureworld Care Giving Centre in Elmira, in her 88th year. Predeceased by her loving husband, Sarge Brown (1976). Devoted mother of Robert (Jessie), Tom (Marlene), Donald (Rosemary), and Sandra Phair (Steve). Lovingly remembered by her 8 grandchildren, as well as her 6 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her caring sister Rose James, brother Ted Beech (Rene), and sister-in-law Margaret Beaupre. Laurie was a volunteer for 10 years in the Gift Shop at K-W Hospital, and an active member of the Pioneer Comedy Troop for 25 years. Before moving to Leisureworld, she was a happy resident of Luther Manor, Waterloo. The memorial service to celebrate Laurie’s life will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at 11 a.m. Immediately following the service, a reception will take place in the Historic Kuntz House of the funeral home.
