<h1>Douglas Schilroth</h1> 1917 – 2008 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Douglas “Mud” Schilroth, an R.C.A.F. veteran of the Second World War (Bomber Command), on September 10, 2008 at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre. We rejoice in knowing that he has rejoined his best friend and wife of 61 years Mary. Lovingly remembered by his children Laurie (Gail), Alan (Sandy), Jan, and faithful companion Dallas. Cherished grandfather of Heather, Andrew, Kristan (Steve) and Scott (Ashley) and great-grandfather of Tyler and Colton. Friends are invited to share their memories of Doug with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Doug’s life and faith will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 11 a.m., the Rev. Mark Lewis officiating. Reception will immediately follow the service. Following the reception, interment in Doon Presbyterian Cemetery.
