<h1>Kenneth Norris</h1> 1933 -2009 With sadness we announce the passing of Ken Norris on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age 76 , after a brave battle with cancer. Ken was born in Preston, England moved with his family to St. Clements and eventually resided in Kitchener, Ont. Ken served with the Royal Canadian Air Force as a radio operator in Germany, during the "Cold War". His hobbies included his love of music, guitar, and anything to do with electronics and photography. Ken was also an avid reader and a very private individual. Ken was predeceased by his parents, William and Mary Ellen Norris; his sister Ellen Dietrich and her husband Leo Dietrich; his sister Lillian Brome and her husband Fred Brome: his brothers, Frank and Bill Norris. He is survived by his sister in laws Rose (nee O'Donnell) Norris and Dolores (nee Hergott) Sienna as well as numerous nieces and nephews. At Ken’s request, cremation has taken place with a private family service. A very special thank-you to the staff of Freeport Hospital, Union Terrace 3rd Floor for their care.
