<h1>Alvin Schwartz</h1> “Shorty” 1925 – 2008 At K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, age 83 years. Husband of the late, Gloria Schwartz. Much loved father of Carol (Mac) Miller, Marsha (Harold) Fontes, Janet Hume, Elaine Pletz and Marilyn (Dean) Woelfle. Alvin will be sadly missed by his many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother, Fred; and by his sister, Lois. Also sadly missed by special friend, Audrey Schmidt. Friends are invited to share their memories of Alvin with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Friday, October 10, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Alvin’s life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Reception will immediately follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Private family interment in Free Church Cemetery, Bridgeport.
