Obituary of Jean Kellerman

<h1>Jean Kellerman</h1> 1919 – 2010 Jean passed away, peacefully, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, after a brief illness, at the age of 91. Jean is survived and lovingly remembered by her brother, Dwight Kellerman of Waterloo; her sister, Lottie Lederman of Stratford; nieces, Barbara Kellerman of Waterloo, Linda Lowry (Mike) of Inverhuron, Anne Lederman (Chris) of Toronto; nephews, John Lederman (Kelley) of Stratford, Ron Kellerman of Chatham; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Rev. Dr. H.A. Kellerman; her mother, Esther; sister, Ellen Kellerman; sister-in-law, Hilda Kellerman; brother-in-law, Bob Lederman; and niece, Dorothy Kellerman. Jean was a missionary for 30 years in China and Japan, first with the Evangelical United Brethren Church and later with the United Church of Canada. After her return from overseas, Jean became involved with Calvary Memorial United Church in Kitchener serving as assistant minister and later as Minister Emeritus. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, October 8, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to honour Jean’s life and faith will be held at Calvary Memorial United Church, 91 Gruhn St. (at Park St. and Glasgow St.) Kitchener on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Marilyn Shaw officiating. A reception will immediately follow in Kellerman Hall at the church. Following cremation, interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Mission and Service Fund of the United Church of Canada, Calvary Memorial United Church, or a charity of choice.
