<h1>Ella Usher</h1> (nee Miller) 1921 – 2009 Ella passed away surrounded by her family on October 31, 2009 at Parkwood Mennonite Home in Waterloo. She is now back in her beloved husband Leslie’s embrace, who predeceased her in April of 2008. Caring mother of Ken (Elaine) and John (Patricia) of Waterloo. Grandmother of Daniel Usher, Mark Usher (Sarah), Karen Keelan (Joe) and Peter Usher (Marnie). Ella is also survived by her four great-grandchildren. Survived by her brothers James Miller of Alberta and Jack Miller (Mary) of Milverton and sister-in-law Betty Miller. Predeceased by her brother William Miller and her sister-in-law Irene Miller. Ella was born in Perth County on October 19, 1921. She was daughter of the late John Miller and Myrtle (nee Orr). Ella retired from the University of Waterloo in 1986. She was a member of Trinity United Church in Kitchener. She was a member of Trinity’s Mr. &amp; Mrs. Club and The Granite Club. Ella enjoyed bridge, theatre, her winters in Destin, Florida and her summers at the trailer in Kincardine. The memorial service to celebrate Ella’s life will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at 11:30 a.m., the Rev. Jack Paleczny officiating, with visitation prior to the service from 9:30 – until 11:15 a.m. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.
