1996-2008
After a courageous 5 year battle, Cyra passed away peacefully on Friday, October 31, 2008 at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital with her family by her side, at the tender age of 12.
Cyra will be sadly missed and will forever remain in the hearts of her loving mother, Andrina Hollingsworth (nee Peretti), younger sister, Tesla and Mark Rehkopf of St. Jacobs. Also, sadly missed and treasured by her father, Paul Hollingsworth of Toronto.
Beloved and much cherished granddaughter of Katrina and Mario Peretti of Kitchener and Marie and John Hollingsworth of Kimberley.
Also, cherished and loved very much by her Aunt Tanya Peretti and cousins Kai and Liam of Calgary, Uncle Tom and Aunt Melissa and cousin Oliver of Toronto, and special friend, Carolyn Rorai of St. Jacobs.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Cyra with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, November 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
A service to celebrate the life of Cyra will take place on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at St. Jacobs Mennonite Church, 1310 King St., St. Jacobs, Ontario at 11 am. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in St. Jacobs.
Cyra was a very special little girl and the family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Doctors and staff at the Hospital for Sick Children, especially Dr. Rutka, Dr. Rossner of Kitchener, the Red Cross Home Care, especially Judy Hutchinson and Maggie Harnock, Comcare Services, especially Lisa and Brenda and all who knew and cared for her, especially the St Jacobs Community.
