Obituary of Brad Sattler

<h1>Brad Sattler</h1> Passed away after a seven year struggle with cancer and diabetes on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 51. Brad will be sadly missed by his children, Hayden and Allanah, whom he adored; his devoted mother, Marj Sattler; treasured sisters, Gail (Kevin) Wolfe, Lisa Sattler and Bonnie (Laurie) Dawe. He is lovingly remembered by his caring and supportive aunts and uncles, especially his Aunt Marjorie Lenz as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his father, Carl Sattler in 2003. Like his dad he had a well known passion for cars, especially their shared love for the MG. He is also survived by his children’s mother, Daphne Hogan. Special thanks goes to the staff at Benny’s Family Restaurant, where Brad went for his favourite breakfast and was always greeted with a smile. Thank you also to Dr. Bob Stephens and nurse, Cathy, Dr. Jakda and nurse, Martha, Dr. Irwin, Dr. Donna Ward, his Homecare Nurses, especially Heather, Trisha and Jennifer and the Freeport Nurses, especially Rita and Stephanie, as well as his hospice friend, Chuck. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m., the Rev. Paul Hartig officiating. Reception will follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
