<h1>David Kernaghan</h1> 1922 – 2007 David passed away at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener, on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Florence for 53 years. Father of David (Marilyn), Kim Rees (Jeff), and Kelly Kernaghan (Richard) all of Kitchener. Grandpa of Tracey, Elizabeth (Paul), Jessica, Jeffrey and Julie and great-grandpa of Patricia, Tom, David, and Kyla. Survived by his sisters, Susan, Betty, Margaret and Emily. Predeceased by his parents, brothers, John, Alec, Robert, and William. David served overseas during the Second World War with the Hamilton Light Infantry. He retired from Uniroyal in 1984 after more than 30 years of service. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories of David during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo, on Saturday, October 6, 2007 from 1- 2 pm followed by the service in the chapel at 2 pm. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Cremation and interment at a later date.
