<h1>Norman Sinclair</h1> 1920 - 2007 Passed away at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Monday, October 29, 2007, at age 87. Born in Welland, Ontario, Norm joined the RCAF in 1941 serving as a Hurricane fighter pilot in Scotland, and a dive bomber pilot with 82 Squadron in India from 1943-1945.He is a holder of the Burma Star. He returned to Canada and attended McMaster University and re-enlisted in 1952. After serving 20 years in the Air Force, he retired to become a teacher at St. David’s in Waterloo and finally, at Brisbane Public School in Erin. He enjoyed an active retirement, golfing at Conestoga Golf and Country Club, and travelling regularly to Florida, Mexico, and England to visit relatives and friends. He will be missed. Beloved husband of Gladys for 35 years; loved father of Greg and Debbie, Norman Jr., Cathie and Mike; loving grandfather of Chris, Nick, and Doug; dear brother of Janet, brother-in-law of Norman and Chris, Doris and Bernie, and Emil and Marion. Predeceased by his brother, Alex and sister, Evelyn, and brother-in-law, Ernesto. Friends are invited to share their memories of Norm with his family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Parish Prayers will held at 8 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Teresa’s RC Church, 44 Leonard St., Waterloo, on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Lewis as celebrant. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
