<h1>Margaret Schnarr</h1> August 26, 1915 – October 27, 2010 Mom went home to be with Dad and celebrate their 76th wedding anniversary last night, October 27, 2010. She was 95. Devoted mother of Ronald Schnarr (Dorothy deceased), Joan Ziegler (Duncan), Jack Schnarr (Wendy deceased). Her legacy will live on through her grandchildren Laurie, Leslie, Louise, Luanne, Leighe, Lyndie, Dave, Cathy, Jim, Jodie, Jill and Jay as well as thirty one great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harry Schnarr in 2002; parents, Frank Berger and Wilhelmine (nee Matthies); and by her brothers and sisters. Her strong will and determination saw her through the depression, a World War and led her to be a resourceful and independent woman who was able to care for herself and her family into her later years. In her spare time she loved dancing, gardening, playing cards and board games, watching the Blue Jays and many game shows. But her greatest love was her family and following their many accomplishments. The family wishes to extend their thanks to Dr. Curtis and all of the nursing staff at St. Mary’s Hospital for their care of Margaret. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 11 a.m., the Rev. Tom Moisan officiating. Following the funeral, a reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Following the reception, for those who wish to attend interment will take place in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
