Passed away at The Westmount on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at the age of 87 years.
Johanna was born in Stratum, The Netherlands and came to Canada with her husband Roelf and their son in 1953. They resided in Waterloo since.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Roelf in 1986, survived by her son Ron, grandchildren, Jennifer VanDerZwaag and her husband Barry Thompson, Kevin and his wife Stephanie VanDerZwaag, and her great-grandchildren, Brock, Trent and Paige Thompson. Johanna was also predeceased by her daughter-in-law Agnes VanDerZwaag in 1995.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Johanna with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Monday, October 30, 2006 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Cremation has already taken place and a private family interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all the staff of The Westmount for the wonderful care and kindness they have provided.
