<h1>Gerdina Kemperman</h1> With grateful hearts for her nurture and love, her family announces the death of Gerdina (Diana) Kemperman on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Columbia Forest LTC, in her 86th year. Diana was born January 4, 1925 in Harderwijk, the Netherlands. With her family she immigrated to Canada in April 1969. Wife of the late Henricus (Henry) Kemperman whom she married July 28, 1958. Treasured mother of Christina and her husband, Brian Hallman and Henricus (Harry) and his wife, Jennifer Kemperman. Beloved Oma of Annadora Hallman and Veronika &amp; Clara Kemperman. Pre-deceased by her parents, Roelof and Anna Dora Jansen as well as her step-mother, Christina. Survived by her brothers and sister: Andries, Annie, Migchel and Ruud (Coby) as well as her brothers and sisters in-law, Geert, Annie (Herman) and Corrie as well as her nieces and nephews of the Netherlands and Aruba. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers in-law; Joop Jansen, Menno Jonkers, Kitty Jansen, Maria Kemperman, Jan and Mimi Van Dalen, Jan Kemperman, Wim and Dicky Kemperman, as well as her nephew, Roel Jansen and niece, Herma Jansen-Hesseling, all of the Netherlands. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Ross Kennel and the care team at Columbia Forest, Johnston House. Your kindnesses towards Diana and our family and the affection you displayed in your care of her are deeply appreciated. Our thanks also go out to John Kendall for his legal services provided with respect and dignity to mom. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday, October 27 from 7-9 p.m., on Thursday, October 28 from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, October 29 from 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Nolan Astley and Rev. Roland Syens officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. Reception to follow the interment in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
