<h1>Julie (Wladyslawa) Malinowski</h1> 1920 – 2007 Julie died peacefully after a brief illness, at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener, on Saturday, October 20, 2007. She was 87. Devoted mother of Anna Gerrard of Kitchener, Jeannie and her husband Michael Ward of Victoria BC and Zofia and her husband Jack Gooding of Winnipeg MB. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, James Gerrard and his wife Cornelia of Mannheim, David J. Gerrard and his wife Vanessa of Ottawa, Jason Gerrard and his wife Yoan of Hamilton, Benjamin Dueck and Janice Medeiros of Winnipeg, Gregory Ward of Kitchener, Ian and Keith Ward of Victoria BC and seven great grandchildren. Julie was predeceased by her husband Rev. Felix Malinowski, who she was deeply devoted to and missed very much; brother John Buczynski and parents Zofia (Izykowska) and Michael Buczynski. Prior to moving to Kitchener, Julie was a 31 year resident of Sudbury. She had worked in nursing at Guelph General Hospital and St. Mary’s General Hospital. She loved gardening and crocheting. Friends are invited to share their memories of Julie with her family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament RC Church, Kitchener, on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 10:30 am, with Rev. Malcolm Katzenberger as celebrant. The Parish Prayer service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 8 pm. Interment will take place on Friday at Civic Memorial Cemetery in Sudbury.
