1919-2010
Passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener, age 91 years.
Ed was an avid sports enthusiast and was one of the oldest surviving members of the Waterloo Siskin Hockey Club. He was the Manager of the Labatt Brewers Retail on King St. in Waterloo.
Loving husband of the late Ellen Mary Brill (2005).
Dear father of Peter (Wendy) Brill, Judy (Guy) Dupuis all of Waterloo, Janet (Fred) Stroh of Kitchener, Pattie Brill (Will Lepoivre) of Wallaceburg. .
Proud and loving grandpa to Michelle Dupuis, Debbie (Grant) Crawford, Gary (Nancy) Dupuis, Sean Mifflin, Sherri Lynn (Darren) Stewart, Craig Stroh and Heidi (Reg) Voisin.
Great grandfather to Justine and Dalton Crawford, Owen Dupuis, Tyson and Kennedy Mifflin, Joey, Scott and Erin Voisin.
Also survived by sisters-in-law Josephine Weiland and Jo Tye.
Predeceased by his parents Adeline and William Pete Brill; sisters-in-law Kaye (Grant) Brown, Irene (Paul) Monotiuk and Olive (Ralph) Prest; brothers-in-law Jim Tye and George Weiland.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Ed with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
The funeral service to celebrate his life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Harold Brill officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo.
Following the interment, a reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
