Passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, age 85 years. Dear wife of the late James Peter Ferguson. Loving mother of Marion McMahon (Pat), Nancy Platt (Rod), Ginny Ferguson (Owen), Peggy Habsch (Nick) and Claire Hillier (Keith). Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Patrick and Peter McMahon, Jennica and Robbie Platt, Alisha (Ryan) and Matthew Habsch; great grandchildren, Jada, Johnathon and Quinn. Also survived by sisters, Catherine Arnold and Mary Greenhill, Peggy Black and Florence Manners (Doug); brothers, Bill Arnold and John Arnold (Bev); brother-in-law, Robert (Shirley) and sister-in-law, Helen. Predeceased by a sister-in-law, Pat Arnold and brothers-in-law, Paul Greenhill and John Black. Friends are invited to share their memories of Eleanor with her family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be recited Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, October 16 at 10:30 a.m. from Blessed Sacrament RC Church 305 Laurentian Dr., Kitchener with Rev. Wayne Lobsinger as Celebrant. Following the funeral mass a reception will be held in the church hall. Interment will follow in St. Teresa’s RC Cemetery, Elmira.
