1935-2010
Passed away at age 75 on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the Hamilton General Hospital as the result of a fall Thanksgiving Day.
Howard was retired from Kraus Carpets where he was employed for 35 years and a member of Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sheila and four children, Marianne de Slegte (Ed Procyk), Douglas, Stephen (Penny) and Sherryl; 4 grandchildren, Dan de Slegte, Sara Maude (Nick), Stephen Jr. and Leeanne; niece Carol (Chuck) Splawnyk; brother-in-law, Mike Winch and his wife Carol and nieces and nephews of Maine, Florida and Texas as well as many long term friends.
Our heartfelt thanks to all medical and emergency staff at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener and Hamilton General for their excellent care and concern shared by all and to the Pastors and church family, plus some very special friends for their love and support.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 18, 2010 at Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly 395 King St. N., Waterloo at 11 a.m. with Pastor Darren Ethier officiating.
