Obituary of Maria Zub

<h1>Maria Zub</h1> MARIA ZUB 1923 – 2009 Formerly of Rouyn Quebec, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the age of 85. Maria is survived by her son Leo Zub, daughters Martha Zub Kozub and her husband Walter, Christina Zub and Vera Zub Fesnak and her husband Walter all of Waterloo, her grandchildren Stephanie, Jonathan and Elizabeth Phillibert, Michael John and Matthew Fesnak as well as her great granddaughter Tatiana. She is also survived by her brother Karl Maslowycz of Astoria New York and sister Anna Krawec of Toronto as well as many nieces and nephews. Maria was predeceased by her husband, John Zub and brother, Myron Maslowycz. Friends are invited to share their memories of Maria with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 7-9 pm. Panachyda will be at 8:00 pm. Panachyda will be held on Friday, October 16 at 9:15am at the funeral home, followed by Divine Liturgy and Funeral Service at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Transfiguration, 131 Victoria Street South, Kitchener at 10:00 am with the Rev. Volodymyr Yanishevsky as Celebrant. A private family interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery.
