<h1>Howard "Howie" Jasper</h1> FCA It is with great sadness, the family announces the passing of Howie Jasper peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on October 10, 2010. Beloved husband and best friend of Pat for 52 years and loving father of Kim Corrigan (Tim), Craig Jasper and Jill Jasper. Cherished Papa to grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jane and Sam Corrigan. He is survived by his step-sisters, Jean McCormack (Bill) and Donna Jasper. Howie had a long and successful career as a partner with Clarkson Gordon/ Ernst and Young. He always felt it was important to support his profession and community and was Director and Officer of The Kitchener-Waterloo Community Foundation, Past President of the Kitchener Chamber of Commerce, Founding Director of Junior Achievement of Waterloo Region, Past President of Waterloo-Wellington Chartered Accountants Association, Past Chairman of the Waterloo-Wellington Section of the University of Waterloo Accounting Advisory Council, Chairman of Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants and Advisor for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of K-W. Memorial visitation will be held at Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate his life will take place at First United Church, 16 William St. W., Waterloo on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Felicia Urbanski officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Church Hall.
