<h1>Stewart Wolfe</h1> 1920 – 2008 Passed away peacefully at the Parkwood Mennonite Home, Waterloo , on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at age 88. Beloved husband of Kathleen Wolfe (nee Heipel).Loving father of Pamela Widmeyer and her husband Gary of Inverness, Cape Breton, N.S. James Wolfe and his wife Janet of Queensville, Ontario and Doug Wolfe and his wife Connie of Waterloo, Cherished grandfather of Stephen Widmeyer of Dartmouth N.S., Sarah Reynolds of Houston, Texas, Karla Widmeyer of Halifax, N.S., Jessica Wolfe of Barrie, Natalie and Allison Wolfe of Toronto, Stephanie Wolfe of Queensville, Laura and Jordan Wolfe of Waterloo and Wesley Wolfe of Toronto. Proud great-grandfather of Noah, Eva and Sophia Widmeyer of Dartmouth , N.S. and Zachary Reynolds of Houston , Texas . Sadly missed by his sister Margaret Bitcon and her husband Harold of Sacramento and sister-in-law Mary Heipel of Stratford. Predeceased by his father John; mother Emma and his step-mother Jane; sister Grace Schlegel and husband Elmer, and brother-in-law Lloyd Heipel. Stewart met his wife of 63 years when he was a teenager in Heidelberg, Ont. Upon his return from overseas service, he spent 16 months in the Veterans Christie St hospital and returned to Heidelberg to marry Kathleen. Stewart and Kathleen owned and operated K Wolfe Real Estate from 1963 to 1990. He was an active member of Bridgeport United Church as an Elder and Steward. He had a real passion for dogs and enjoyed hunting and fishing and time at his Chesley Lake Camp cottage. Friends are invited to share their memories of Stewart with his family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. , Waterloo on Friday, October 3, 2008, from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Stewart’s life and faith will take place at the Bridgeport United Church , 40 Bridge Street W. , Kitchener , on Saturday, October 4, at 11 a.m. with Rev Heidi Sievert officiating. Following the service all are invited to attend a reception in the church hall. Interment at Calvary United Church Cemetery , St Jacobs to follow. The families heartfelt thanks is extended to the staff of Weberwoods at Parkwood Mennonite Home and to Dr Chatimata for the extrordinary care that was provided to Stewart during his last years.
