<h1>Lauretta Martin</h1> 1923 – 2008 Lauretta died peacefully in her sleep, at Heritage House in St. Jacobs, on Sunday, November 9, 2008. She had just celebrated her 85th birthday on October 25th. Lauretta will be lovingly remembered by her family who meant everything to her – children Douglas and his wife Margaret Martin of Cambridge and Judith and her husband Terry Jutzi of Kitchener. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Suzanne and Chris Schaefer, Tara and Yvon Deschenes, Chad Martin and Katrina Woerns, Jessica Jutzi and Stephen Kelley, Seth Jutzi and Alicia MacFadden; great-grandchildren, Hanna, Ryan, Sebastien and Keagan. Lauretta is also survived by her sister Elsie Cathrea of Kelowna BC; sister-in-law Emma Brubacher of St. Jacobs and brother-in-law George Maurer of Phillipsburg. She was predeceased by her husband Zienas Martin; parents Lydia (Kilmer) and Clayton Brubacher; brother Raymond Brubacher and brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim Cathrea, Luanna Maurer and Ellen and Turk Zess. She was a faithful member of Erb Street Mennonite Church in Waterloo. For over 50 years, Lauretta loved to be at their family cottage at Chesley Lake. Wherever Lauretta was, her gift to others was her unconditional friendship and ability to make people feel special. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories of Lauretta with her family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service to celebrate her life and faith will be held at Erb Street Mennonite Church in Waterloo on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, 2 pm, with Rev. Eleanor Epp-Stobbe officiating. Interment to follow in Erb Street Mennonite Cemetery.
