<h1>Betty Timmis</h1> 1916 – 2009 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Timmis, in her 94th year, on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Victoria Place. Beloved wife of the late William Timmis (2004); loving mother of Judy (Bruce) Jank of Burlington and Patricia (Jim) Porterfield of Kitchener; dear grandmother of Jeff (Ivana) and Bryan Porterfield and Shannon and Michael Jank, and loved brother of William Brown of Toronto, by all of her many sisters-and brothers-in-law and their spouses, nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews. Born in Coldwater, Ontario, she moved first to Amherstburg and then to Waterloo when she married in 1937. She has resided at Victoria Place for more than five years. The family would like to extend their most grateful thanks to the staff and particularly to the truly tender and loving caregivers on the fourth floor and to her long-time doctor, Dr. Norman Bodkin. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 12:30 to 2:45 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 3 p.m., conducted by The Venerable Peter T. Townshend.
