<h1>Clifford Lipskie</h1> April 13, 1912 - November 8, 2008 Was born in Owen Sound, grew up in Kitchener and, at the age of 96, died at Sunnyside Home after residing there for one year. Husband of 72 years to Nina Lipskie (nee Barker). father of Larry Lipskie of Naperville, Illinois and of Nancy McDaniel of Kitchener and grandfather to Christopher McDaniel of Waterloo. Predeceased by his parents, Christian Lipskie and Ethel (nee Logan), and by his sisters Thelma Palmer (previously Thelma Pfeil) and Myrtle Kunkel. Clifford was a long time, active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Kitchener, a church council member, Sunday school teacher and superintendent. He retired after 38 years from Dumarts Meats (later known as Burns Meat Packing). In his spare time he played on the Dumarts and Burns teams in the Industrial Hockey Leagues. He also enjoyed bowling and horse shoes, and was an accomplished amateur artist painting in oils and acrylics. Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo (519-745-8445). A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
